Workplace Rescue & Recovery (WRRT02)
Course Aim
This course is for personnel involved in the extraction of a casualty from a non-atmospheric related incident from above, below or on ground level; or who form part of the site rescue team.
The aim of this course is to educate delegates in a realistic environment by preparing them to work safely, enter and use rescue equipment, follow procedures and deal with emergencies.
The course can take place at the Eurosafe Training Academy or on your site using the Mobile Training Unit. Option for day two to take place on site using own equipment is available upon request.

- First aid for casualty extraction
- Search procedures
- Rescue techniques above & below ground level

Learning Outcomes
- Prepare to work safely in emergency conditions (non atmospheric)
- Use rescue equipment safely in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions
- Follow emergency procedures
- Deal with emergencies
- Demonstrate appropriate behaviour for carrying out emergency extraction of a casualty from various workplace situation
Course Assessment
- Direct observation of a rescue
- Practical application of a casualty extraction
Important
Important: Candidates are advised to hold a valid First Aid certificate. It is assumed that candidates are competent at using a harness and associated equipment. If not, please contact us. This course is not for High Risk Entry Rescue.

- Training Academy or on-site
- Eurosafe Certificate
- Valid for 3 years
- Refresher sessions recommended
- Candidates are advised to hold a valid First Aid certificate and competent using a harness & associated equipment. This is not for High Risk Entry Rescue.
