Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of the course, delegates will learn:

  • The law/standards relating to stepladders and step stools
  • When it’s right to inspect a stepladder or step stool
  • How to carry out a formal inspection
  • How to record the inspection and any faults
  • What action to take if faults are identified
  • How to accurately record details of stepladders and step stools used within the workplace.

  • Multiple Choice Questions
  • Pre-Use Inspection, carrying and setting up a Stepladder and Step Stool
  • Completing a formal inspection

Important

Closed-toe shoes, with good grip on the sole are recommended – no backless or high heel shoes; no socks, tights or bare feet.
