Slinging and Lifting (SLC01)
This course is aimed for individuals who are involved daily routine lifting tasks using mechanical aids, such as chain or electric hoists. The course is designed to give individuals an overview of the legal aspects of routine lifts and the need for correct planning and execution of lifting activities in the workplace.

- To list the legal aspects of slinging and lifting.
- Understand and be aware of their responsibilities.
- Be able to identify and select safe slinging and lifting equipment.
- Be able to estimate weights and centres of gravity of different loads.
- Know how to inspect and store the equipment correctly.
